CSI is currently carrying out the installation and pre commissioning for the Electrical, Instrumentation and Telecoms installations on the two WHP’s (OFD3 & OFD5) and associated bridges. Installation of cable trays, installation of all HV/LV power cables, instrument cables, telecommunications cables, glanding cables, testing and terminating of all power, control and telecommunications cables. Installation of all associated electrical, instrumentation, and telecommunications equipment.
Installation of all hydraulic, pneumatic, and process instrument tubing and associated compression fittings as per instrument hook-ups. Works shall include all Calibrations and Pre-Commissioning and support Commissioning Team as needed. CSI looks forward to successfully completing the remaining phases of the project, and appreciates the professionalism exhibited by Contractor and Client. CSI successfully completed the Turnkey I&E procurement, installation and commissioning for MPN SFDP Phase 1 ABANG, ITUT and OYOT topsides in April 2012. Projects were executed at Nigerdock PLC on Snake Island and DLE at the Naval Dock Yard in Lagos. CSI has been recommended by MPN as the preferred I&E subcontractor for Phase 2 which is due to be awarded 2012.
CSI is currently nearing completion of the I&E installation and commissioning on the OAGM Compression Barges for Olero Creek and DIbi for CNL at Aveon Offshore in Port Harcourt. Peak I&E manpower on the project reached a total of 137 men including a 30 percent local community staff who were integral in the successful completion of the onshore SOW. CSI is proud of the fact that were able to execute these most recent projects with an average of better than 95% local labor and supervision content. Total project man hours for the projects was plus 350,000 without a recordable accident or incident. |
